Job Purpose:

This position will be assisting the Company Secretaries mainly on the corporate secretarial function. The Senior Executive has the responsibility to provide corporate secretarial support function to the Supervisors to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations including listing requirements and corporate governance (“CG”) framework issued by the authority(ies) on board of directors (“Board”), Board committees and management committees established by Clients. Also, be the conduit between ShareWorks Sdn Bhd and the Clients/ relevant authority(ies).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer all aspects of corporate secretarial practices and requirements in compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and such other applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) for a portfolio of clients.
  • Maintain and upkeep statutory records in compliance with governing laws i.e. preparation of resolutions, updating registers, lodgements/submissions of statutory forms/documents with the authorities within the stipulated time frame.
  • Updating information online in MycoID/MBRS/e-Bos.
  • Liaison with CCM in connection with inquiries and appeals.
  • Manage day-to-day management of client portfolio.
  • To liaise professionally and strictly confidential with all levels of management, department and business associates.
  • To liaise professionally and strictly confidential with the relevant authority(ies) as on when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors from time to time.
